Cancellation / Refunds Policy

Virtual-Actor.com promises to deliver the most innovative and dynamic website design possible to our customers. We do not offer refunds or "exchanges" as, after all, we are talking about a virtual product, here.


Standard Stuff

  • Once purchased, a website package is not refundable for any reason.
  • Clientele are given up to six months to submit materials. Materials must be in correct, resized format and submitted via the Site Creation instructions (www.virtual-actor.com/thankyou.html)
  • While websites are generally completed in 4-12 weeks (depending on website design level), Virtual-Actor reserves the right to take up to a maximum of six months to complete the website design.
  • Dissatisfaction, for whatever reason, may be forwarded to customerservice@virtual-actor.com. On a case-by-case basis, customers may request a one-time partial redesign.
  • A sever storage charge of 1.33 (one dollar and thirty three cents per month) will be charged to client account yearly for upkeep and optimization, and pro-rated if client site has not yet gone live.
  • If website materials are not submitted in the proper format within the timeframe provided, the website credit expires and no refund will be provided.

Hosting

  • To receive a website with Virtual-Actor, clients are required to have domain name & hosting with GreenTeaHosting.com, Virtual-Actor's exclusive server.
  • Virtual-Actor is not responsible for hosting costs or domain name costs.

    (Why? Because GreenTea is a reliable, stable serve, and we are able to troubleshoot uploading problems if they ever happen. We cannot provide any support on 3rd party hosts, which are many times more expensive)

Photoshoots from Previous Photoshoot/Webdesign Packages (no longer available)

  • Clients have up to six months to schedule a photoshoot. Clients will be given up to 7 available times if neccessary.
  • Photographer has up to six months to provide scheduling for photoshoots in New York and Los Angeles.
  • If a session is canceled immediately upon booking, a $100 penalty fee will be assessed.

Unlimited Updates Plan (no longer available)

  • Clients are required to maintain the Unlimited Updates plan for a period of 12 months.
  • Unlimited updates are non-refundable if not used... there is no roll-over.
  • Unlimited updates has been discontinued as of January 2010

FOR DISPUTES - EFFECTIVE 2010

Website clientele that attempt to do a "chargeback" due to a non-review of the above policies, faliure to submit website materials in the timeframe provided, etc. will be responsible for a $150 fine which will be charged to the credit card on file.

Disputes of any kind must be forwarded to customerservice@virtual-actor.com, and will be reviewed accordingly.
